Collapse ▲A recent change to the publishing model for journals produced by the Entomological Society of America has the potential to be a huge benefit to those of us in extension. Arthropod Management Tests (or AMTs), a peer reviewed journal that publishes short reports of pesticide efficacy trials, is now open access. This means that a wealth of efficacy data is now available in an easily searchable form.
AMTs are my first stop for insecticide efficacy information in cases where I have not done direct trials with a material. For example, you can find information about the efficacy of different insecticides and application timings against raspberry crown borer. AMTs are also where I publish all of the efficacy trials conducted by my laboratory annually, which are available for the last seven years.
